My name is Jordi Puente. I live in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. A coincidence drive my to your blog. Apparently, Soler is a family name which origin in Catalonia or Valencia. The first name "José" can be original from any corner of Spain and any of the spanish territories overseas, even Philippines (Rizal, p.ex.). About 1950 I meet in Barcelona a philippino family of catalan origin, the Planas. They told me that in the islands remained few families which spoke spanish, even catalan, as family internal language. Perhaps you belong to one of those very very traditional culture families. Please make me know what is still right with this particular and please confirm which is your familiar language. Thanks in advance.
